DescriptionCirca 1860 Impressive pair of large carved oak throne or hall chairs.  The part upholstered backs surmounted by finely carved pairs of eagles flanking a crest and supported on barley twist and open foliate carved backs. The shaped arms on barley twist supports above lift-out seats and supported  on foliate carved and barley twist legs and stretchers.
