1900s Antique German Glass Ornament Fluted Umbrella Parasol Pre 1946 Christmas Ornament

Lovely early antique German mercury glass ornament, featuring a classic silver folded umbrella, circa 1900s. It is very thin blown glass and measures 5 inches from the tip to the handle end. The silvering is still bright and a bright blue band at the end adds interest. It is in very good antique condition with a bit of minor paint loss here and there, and a chipped pike. It is topped with an unmarked Lauscha style cap which has oxidized. The simple and classic beauty makes a striking statement. Perfect on a feather tree, a thoughtful gift for someone special!
